Les Canotiers by Renoir Throw

Chenille Throws

This Les Déjeuner des Canotiers Throw is not only famous, it is exciting and beautiful. This masterpiece painted by Impressionist painter, Peirre-Auguste Renoir shows the Luncheon of the Boating Party (1881) and is part of the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C.

Renoir, his friends and future wife, Aline Charigot are shown in this work-of-art on the balcony at Maison Fournaise on the Seine in Chatou, France. Aline plays with the little dog and Renoir is seated on the lower right with Gustave Cailebotte, an art patron.

This chenille throw shows Renior's oil on canvas, "Luncheon of the Boating Party" in his classic style of feminine sensuality and beauty. Renior always wanted to paint in order to dress up our walls and home decor with great beauty and he does it well.

This Renoir chenille throw is woven in Belgium and made of cotton, viscose and acrylic blend. It is unlined with sewn sleeve for a rod, dry clean. Use as luxury afghan throw or you can hang it on the wall as a tapestry, the choice is yours.
