The Holy Grail Tapestry

This is panel number two of a series of six woven in France by the William Morris & Co. telling the tale of The Quest of The Holy Grail during the Medieval Times. This section shows the Knights of the Round Table gathering their arms and preparing to depart on their spiritual mission to find the cup that Jesus and the disciples drank from at The Last Supper and otherwise know as The Holy Grail.

Sir Galahad, Sir Bors and Sir Percival say their good byes, as they lead the rest of the knights on their quest in this beautiful tapestry wall hanging.
