This is one of six panels woven in France originally by Morris & Co., illustrating the departure in this Tapestry, The Holy Grail. We can see Sir Galahad, Sir Bors and Sir Percival, all Knights of The Round Table saying good byes as they get ready to depart for the long mission to find The Holy Grail. This grail is the cup that Jesus drank from with his diciples at The Last Supper and possesses magical powers of youth.
