Kids today want to have a cool room to bring their friends over to play with their favorite toys and games. Kids play on the floor with their toy trucks, baby dolls in doll houses and spread out all over the room with their cool stuff. Why not get them positioned on the floor on their very own cool kids rug?

My young niece tells me that lava lamps are in and any child would want one for their room. I did not know this great big important fact and made a mental note. I was curious to her reaction to having a cool rug for her room where she brings her friends. Nope. Not really what she was thinking about for her very cool room decor.

However, a couple days later when she came home from her best friend Sara’s home from an overnight, she came running up to me and said, “guess what?”. She was really excited, because Sara’s parents had just added a cool rug for her play room. She told me that Sara’s parents were tired of her and her friends laying around on the bare floors with all their dolls and wanted something to keep the girls up and off the damp floors. And she told me it was a soft and fluffy round rug. She told me they both liked it, because they could lay their baby dolls down to sleep on it and it was pretty and soft for them too.

I asked if maybe she would want a lava lamp and perhaps a fluffy and soft, warm rug, too. The smile was brilliant, as I remembered her lava lamp and the rug would be just great, too.
