My mothers birthday is Memorial Day… when we were children we always knew the exact birthday of both my parents… mom on Memorial Day and dad on Valentines Day. We were golden. Then they changed Memorial Day to be on the Monday… it messed us all up, as children. But we’ve got it straight now.

Since this holiday weekend is early this year we not only celebrate this weekend, but next too because the real birthday is on the 30th. So, I guess double party time and since it’s a big birthday us kids have decided to pull our moneys together and get her a woven tapestry seat cover for the golf cart. We all love to golf and having a nice cover for the seat that attaches with ties, we knew she would love one as pretty as a country garden scene from France.

When we golf, we bring food… the cover makes it just a bit nicer… like a table cloth. So another good use for the fine woven goods… tapestries. They do rock.
