William was referred to as William the bastard, before he conquered King Harold from Saxon, England. Makes a much nicer ring to his name don’t you think? William the Conqueror! Yeah, much better.

What did he conqueror? Do you know? It was England. It was Normandy’s fight with England and William went to battle and won. It was such a big deal… The Battle of Hastings in 1066 and is still talked about to this day, all the time.
